Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University was founded in 1937 and named in honor of Sun Yat-sen. It is a Class A tertiary comprehensive hospital directly under China’s National Health Commission and one of the first institutions selected for the development of National Medical Centers.The hospital is nationally leading and internationally advanced in fields such as cardiology, hepatology, vascular medicine, gastroenterology, oncology, and critical care medicine. It houses the National Key Laboratory for Cardiovascular Diseases and the National Clinical Research Center for Radiology and Therapy, along with 18 national clinical key specialties.
