Huashan Hospital, Fudan University was founded in 1907, originally known as the General Hospital of the Red Cross Society of China. It is a Class A tertiary comprehensive hospital directly under China’s National Health Commission, an affiliated hospital of Fudan University, and a hospital bearing the name of the Red Cross Society of China.The hospital hosts two national medical centers—one for neurological diseases and one for infectious diseases—and has 20 national clinical key specialties.
